Since Bhutan does not have a domestic air service, helicopter services or railways, the only way left for touring is on foot or by road. Tourists holding normal tourist visas are taken around by their tour operators who provide all the transportation facilities.
It is also possible to hire cars with a driver through a travel agency. Biking would also be a great way to explore Bhutan, especially around the Thimphu and Paro valleys. Bikes are not yet available for rent, though services of taxi operators can be availed. Cabs in Bhutan don’t have meters or fixed fares, and are open to negotiation.
We can provide you with reliable and convenient car and cab hire services for the entire duration of your tour in Bhutan.
